EMI Brussels Event: We Need to Talk About Poland

European Movement International invites you to attend the February 18 discussion „We Need to Talk About Poland: Challenging European values and the respect for the rule of law“ in Brussels. This is the first public Brussels event on developments in Poland following MEPs debate on rule of law issues with the Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo, which took place on 19 January at the EP in Strasburg.
The discussion, moderated by EMI Secretary-General Petros Fassoulas, will include Marcin Święcicki (President of EMI Poland and member of the Polish parliament), Prof. Zdzisław Krasnodębski (MEP and member of the Polish Law and Justice party), Annabelle Chapman (Warsaw-based journalist for The Economist and POLITICO Europe), and Ivonne Julitta Bollow (Head of Eastern Europe & International Affairs, METRO GROUP).
