The Institute for Politics and Society has the honour
to invite you to a debate „Life after Brexit: A new way forward for the
EU„. The debate is organised within the international conference Forum
2000.
The debate is scheduled on 17th October from 5 p.m. and
held in Schebek Palace, Politických
vězňů 936/7, 11000 Prague 1.
Renowned Danish politician, former chairman of the
Danish Liberal Uffe Ellemann-Jensen, who served as the Danish foreign minister
for ten years and was among other things a big proponent of NATO expansion, is
going to take part in the debate “Life after Brexit”, organised by IPPS within
the international conference Forum 2000. Jensen remembers how it was with the
Danish referendum on the Maastricht Treaty when the Danish decision, analogous
to the recent British, was also NO.
We would like to invite you to debate about the
results of Brexit which is nowadays one of the biggest challenges and dramas
that Europe is facing. Europe after Brexit is going to be different- but to
what extent?
